expansion joint

Ive got a barn floor various room sizes one room is 10 mts in length do you think I would need an expansion joint or would it be ok or leave 5mm away from walls where the skirting is going

Laying 900* 600 stone 22mm thick client seems to think its necessary Im not sure

10 mtrs long.. ye deffo needs one bang in the middle.. use one that suits the grout colour..
