Hi guys, I've been tiling for 3 years now and have covered quite a lot within the world of tiling. I've worked with nearly all tiles and situations and am fairly confident at what I do. However recently I've been thinking of making the leap into marble work (for a large stone company) and although I've seen a lot of specialist firms installing large amounts of it I've never done a lot of it myself.
The areas I've seen these people do that I haven't tried myself are leveling a sand bed for large stone but I imagine this wouldn't be too difficult?????
mitering with just a grinder..any tips or advice on this? or is it just a practice makes perfect situation
And also screwing anchors into the back of sheets for walls..does this just get drilled and screwed or is there a technique?
As you can see I am still a little wet behind the ears but I don't like to shy away from difficult situations..so please all comments and advice is very much welcome
Is there such a thing is this country as a marble school or work shop?
cheers
Marty
