Extend ring for boiler and outside socket Discussion ThreadExtend ring for boiler and outside socket Electrical Advice

DIYer question
I need to add an FCU to the kitchen ring for a boiler and also an outdoor socket.
I don’t want to extend the ring to the outside socket in case of water getting in.
Can I put the FCU for the boiler on the ring and does a 3amp fuse in that have any effect on the overall ring? Does the ring current still
Flow through an FCU even if switched off?

For the outside socket (which will need to be located beside the boiler FCU), what’s the easiest way to safely get a spur for that socket?
