Although not flooring im looking into cleaning a marble grave stone unpolished. It's white and hasn't been cleaned for decades, any ideas? Scrubbing removes 90% of the dirt but it's slow going, I would try a pressure next time but also thinking about some chemical.

There are a couple of ways you can do this but testing an area is the key. Try some Aqua Mix Heavy Duty tile & Grout and then back it up with some Aqua Mix Nano Scrub. If this works all well and good you could then polish such a small area with Aqua Mix Renue and finally seal it with either Aqua Mix Ultra Solv or Sealers Choice Gold. Alternatively if this doesn't work you could try Aqua Mix Extreme but this may cause some acid etching and will require repolishing as I said the key is to test and Test

Polishing products have been recommended here, are these still relevant even though the marble isn't polished? It looks honed with a rough grit.

It just needs a clean ....it's ahead stone and doesn't need sealing imo...

Lithofin power clean or LTP grimex etc will do the job till next year...Stone outside will have algea grow and genral dirt from the rain...

A good clean and then an occasional wash with soapy water will keep it a bay....

That is an awful lot of money on products mentioned above...cheaper to buy another headstone...:lol:
