f ball stycobond f44 instead of spf for wedi ?

used stycobond f44 acrilic emulsion adhesive this weekend on a small cloakroom floor to bond the dural ci matting ( thanks for the info gary the tiler).

this was over chipboard flooring and worked out well.

now tommorrow i have 10 m2 of 6mm marmox to lay over t and g flooring in a wet room, this got me thinking and my question is:-

has any one out there used f44 or similar to lay cement skrim boards ? if not do you think it can be done ?

i'm not going to do it tommorow but what do you guys reckon ?

I'd speak to their tech department but you might be better off with F21 or B95. These are for sticking wood to concrete. Seems to me you are sticking similar materials just the other way round.

I presume you have got deflection sorted.

deflextion is sorted, everything starts at the bottom

it's the principle of using an acrilic rather than an spf that interests me, thanks for the response

Can't see any reason why it should not work. You might need to prime the back of the boards first.
