fein multimaster tiling kit

hi i just wanted opinions on this tool. i wanted it for cutting door frames and removing grout or adhesive etc. and if anyone knows the cheapest place to get one. tradetiler sells them for around 170

Have the kit myself,great article.
Real handy for cutting architrives in tight corners to allow the tiles under and all.Also great for cutting out grout around a tile that has to be removed!!
well worth the money,mind you i noticed mine slowing down a few times!! anyone else spot this?

I would like to see some different blades available for taking out grout the ones you get with it are a bit weak

have been looking at this tool and have found that bosch have just brought out a "similar" tool it retails at £60(b&q) although you will need to buy a few more tools as you only get a few with it. it does look a bit more bulky than the fein but worth a look at.(fein pattent has run out so look out for more ariving on the market soon:8:

Everyone I've spoke to says the bosch isn't in the same league as the fein,in a previous job I used a fein sheet nibbler which cost over £600,amazing bit of kit.The fein is that price because its quality,a bit like the rubi and sigma cutters are some of the most expensive on the market and thats because their the best quality.

Get the fein mate my mates got a bosch its not as good. Ive had mine about a year now like you said cant see how i managed without it real time saver and knuckle saver! lol

Have purchased the multi master recently. Expensive...... but what a quality bit of kit this is. The 5 metre cable is great too.
I'm sure i will getlots of use out of this bit of kit.

You tend to find if you look after it, it will do you favours time and time again, but the blades are thin and can wear away quickly.

I heard about a guy making his own blades once though.
