I recently got a titanium tipped bi metal blade, was 15 quid. Cut loads of architrave etc.. the standard fein bi metal blade would have been smoking big time by now.

It's extra thin for fast cutting and called nail buster extreme from smart tool accessories (SMTX) and fits every oscillating tool on the market at the moment. I know £15 isn't cheap for a blade but it's already worked out cheaper than the shark blades and still shows no sign of wear.

We have been using Shark and more recently saxton blades for about a year and find them just as good as the fein. We buy them in bulk from Ebay. The bi-metal blades last a long time and go through nails when you are cutting out door frames like butter. items in saxton-trading store on eBay!

Thats the fella Neale.
Can't ever see me using anything else now, it just doesn't seem to get hot when used.
The one I got was 32mm, will get the 44mm when it finally starts dulling, whenever that will be!

Thanks for that getting a few blades from both to try and see how they perform, have you used their carbide or diamond grout removal blades?

Question, I've been looking at these blades and wondering if we could make something diamond plated, brazed or segmented that would be of use?

Have you ever thought, "What I really need is a fein blade that would cut........" that could be made with diamond technology?

If you have, ask as we're always looking for new ideas and we may just be able to make what you need.

Diamond ?, only grout removal that I can think of so far.
