Female Tiler

Hi all,

I'm a female tiler from the surrey area, i started my business last september and have had quite a few jobs since doing my course, things are a bit slow sometimes but i am building a nice portfolio of jobs ive completed.

Would love to speak to any other tilers in my area who may know of good ideas on how i can bring in some more work.

its a tough one .
adverts local paper im in yellow pages.
try to get in with local kitchen barthroom stores.
troubles is they opt from time seved tilers mostly.
just got to plug away and bulild up.takes a while,
i get quite patchs and ive had my firm for 11years been tiling for nearly 22 years im 37

Hi Faye, welcome to the forums. There is loads of info buried in the forums about generating work. Try doing a search in the area at the top of the screen for stuff like "advertising" and see what comes up.

Myself, I am just off out to spend this lovely afternoon dropping business cards in letter boxes in my local area.

Further to my earlier post about advertising etc. Went out earlier today and dropped 2 or 300 cards into letter boxes. Got first response from them this evening and went to price job. Card drops really do work.
