Fill Gell

Hi guys,
I have just bought some Bisazza for my bathroom and need some advice with utilizing the fill gel grout. Anything i should watch out for in particular or a best practice process to follow?
I will post some pics when done.

just googled those tiles,would only use microban(or mapei equivelent) to grout these,don't think anything else would not scratch these!

Havent actually bought the grout yet but will be buying some 'Shine' when i do. I take it it is well worth while?

Bisazza have their own grout for their tiles and it's great stuff, gives a superb finish

I've been involved with the mosaics in a small way, theres alot to know in fixing to keep the guarantee

Each fill gel grout pack should contain the shine remover, a white scouring type pad to take off excess grout, and a cellulose sponge to finish off. From memory one pack of grout is enough to do about 2msq and it tells you how long to mix for before applying (i do it with a cordless drill and small paint mixing paddle cos epoxy is thick) just stick to the instructions and you'll be fine. Apply the shine with a plant sprayer it'll go a lot further this way, and have a little in a rinsing bucket to keep the sponges as clean as you can although depending on meterage you should have plenty as its a new sponge with every grout pack. I know its obvious but dont start unless you have enough time to finish because you only get the one chance with this stuff. Once you've got the excess grout off and have a nice finish there will probably be a bit of a sticky residue on the face of the tiles, as long as its only a little residue you should be ok waiting until the next day when the grout has hardened then giving it another wipe over with shine and a clean sponge.
In case i've made the above sound overly complicated I find bisazzas epoxy a lot better/easier to use than the easypoxy bal do because of the shine solution.

use there own grout as it gives a great finish and follow there instructions and its simplest epoxy you will ever use

I couldnt agree more with the last 2 posters, the grout is really easy to use and the shine cleaner brings it up a treat i have been using epoxy far more since i discovered how much easier it is with the new cleaners that are now available just follow the instructions and you will be fine .

Good luck bling and as redlee says just follow the instructions. Ive used this stuff quite a lot, make sure you mix it well and pay attention to powering the grout into joints as its easy to miss little spots. I find when cleaning it off to use the edge of your grout float which practically takes all the grout off the surface. The shine takes care of the rest!
