Hi Folks. Just finished this job (Why did I agree to doing chippying - took me ages!) and thought I'd post some pics and ask for any feedback & constructive criticism.

Overview. Old tiles lifted where necessary, bitumen removed (what a pain that was), floor primed/sealed.
Levelled with slc (using sand mix for deeper areas).
Insulation boards stuck with addy & screwed to substrate.
UFH mats laid, slc over. Tiles laid with Granfix porcelain fix. Grout Mapei Ultra 130.
Sealed with Larson Impregnatiing Sealer (customer bought with slate)

Also did chippying, i.e. new worktop, raised all cabinets, cut plinths , skirting and doors.

Not sure of actual brand, customer had already bought with UFH. They were a basic mesh covered foam board. OK when on solid subfloor, don't have the strength of other better known boards.
