if the mosaics are paper backed you will only get one chance in fitting them as they will just fall apart if trying to remove again. as said pat on with a grout float. using spacers some time are no help as they will just want to collapse on them selves. i find a packet of panel pins or similar come in handy just to take the weight of the sheets just tap a couple in at the top of a sheet. also dont try to cut paper back mosaics with a wet cutter as they just fall aprt, the best way if the tiles allow is to use a splitter cutter with a deep rubber spacer attatched and split them individually.
