Stagger the sheets as this will help the mosaic blend in better rather than seeing where each sheet ends. Use a small notch trowel so as the adhesive does not ooze through the joints but always keep a sponge to hand to clean off as you work.
If you have a grout float use that as a beater .
Make sure the walls are good enough firstly though. Any dips or bumps will show in the mosaic as it will follow the wall.
Good luck

Hi Robbo,
A customer the other week wanted us to put a 5mm thick mosaic border inbetween large 10mm thick tiles, this was just stupid,we tried, but showed the customer they wont sit flush, cause even if you put more addy on the back of the border tile, you end up with addy coming out and sitting all wonkey, you have to poke em about with your fingers. No joke I can tell ya,also trying to keep them clean is a must as it only makes things more difficult later.
As long as you have a nice even bed of addy, you should be ok.
Good luck mate.
Vin.

You should have used a cheap thin tile as a packer before putting the mosaics on , this would have been much easier and neater...or alternatively you could have used 4mm wedi board or similar...just a thought for future jobs vinny.........
