Fixing a shower tray

What would be the best way to stick a shower tray down onto a plywood base, my thoughts are either silicon, pink grip, or a 2 part flexable. Any advice will be appreciated

Its a acrylic one, going to stand on a wooden floor thats been overboarded with ply

18mm ply, over floor boards.

Does it have adjustable legs underneath?

If so there's usually screwholes in the feet.

no, its just a flat base

Pink grip gets my that's how I fixed my last one.

Use a level/straight edge to check the back of the tray.. some times they are concaved and need a more solid fixing method... and not sand and cement onto wood...lol lol...

Flexible rapid set works for a deeper bed...

I've used keraquick before, worked fine and levelled up nicely

Tell you what - I wouldn't like to have to fight the bloke who can lift a shower tray up thats been flat fixed with good Silicon:lol:

always use rapid flexi, some of the base's I've seen are miles out!

Hi, this posting was ages ago so I don't know if you tiling pro's are still about. But...if you are...I have an acrylic or polymer shower tray going into a motorhome and need advice how to stick it down. Correction: the tray was already in but the 'handyman' who helped me fit it first time around didn't do it properly and so the bottom of the tray lifted and then forever popped under ones feet. Since I discovered he didnt secure the cassette toilet to the wall either (!) I have just ripped the whole lot out to start again. Yeah, yeah, if a job's worth doing right, do it yourself!

So, question, please. If he stuck it down with Silicon, well that what appeared to be there when I lifted it out, and that didnt hold, what should I use? Somebody on this thread suggested rapid flexi but not being a tiler I have no clue what that is or where to find it! Pink Grip, if you think it is ok, I can get from our friend mr screwfix, no doubt.

The subfloor is oak plank.
