It depends what type of customer you have. If you have the type that has faith in everything you say and you can sell the job being a better finish in the long run then do that.
If not and you have the type that just wants the tiles on the walls then it is up to you whether you take the job on and run with the walls.

Just remember that brickbonding will be a nightmare.
