Fixing UFH

To all you guys that use loose wire or mesh ufh, can you tell me your prefered fixing method, ie tape or glue gun ? and how you go about fixng it, do you glue all of it or at intervals and which colour glue sticks you use before covering it with slc, just want to see what options are available before i do my next one without tape ! cheers,

had a slow start to the year mate but its starting to pick up now, St Helens nice spot .... need a labourer haha ....

I use the floor warming mats, like the one's Dave uses they are self adhesive. Before they were around I used to set in SPF adhesive.

I use mats most of the time. I know Devi's mats are pretty good for staying down, the entire mat is covered in adhesive instead of little bits of tape here and there like some other makes, as Jay said if you prime the floor and use a mat like this you shouldnt have any need for extra glue .

I use fast set flexible adhesive - fairly thick mix - and spread it with a rubber squeegee! When its off I use Mapei Fibreplan over the whole floor - enough just to cover the wires.
