Some of The pictures on the news look horrendous, it really puts the power of nature into perspective.

Where I live has so far escaped any flooding, despite the sometimes heavy rain showers.

its ok down here.... and my house sits on top of a massive hill so were all good lol

Fortunately I am in a similar position....I can be quite un-nerving seeing what looks like a river running past the front window.
 
I live it Scotland, it rains 364 days of the year up here & on the other day it snows..
We can send money to all these foreign countries for aid but when it's on our door step peeps just have to get on with it!!

Where do you stand on the Scotland in or out of the Uk Stef?
You might not have to put up with Cameron for much longer!
 
I'm just waiting for all the donations to come in from India and Pakistan for all our flood victims, but I'm not holding my breath!!!!

Dito John, we'll keep swimming whilst India gets waterparks made free!
