I use a slow speed rotary polisher/buffer 180rpm with 80 grit silicon carbide discs. It does the job great and does not great a lot of dust in the air.

Neale I have the same machine it came with 2 spare drive boards one of which I bolted carborundum stones to as on damp screeds the silicone carbide discs clog too easily and over work the motor I will take a picture tomorrow but I recommend you try bolting the blocks on the drive board

I havent had one clog up as yet Gary but you never know.The reason I didnt want to bolt anythhing to the drive board is that I dont want to damage it or even throw it off balance. I use both brushes for cleaning purposes. If i had another spare drive board and the stones then maybe I would try it...the again I havent had a Anhydrite screed for months....most of the builders I work for have gone back to sand and cement.
