just seen on welsh telly ,they are packing the above for peeps in need , i think that is great, at a time of greed and spending spare a thought for those of us who have nothing, or are homeless, one love!!! to give is good

I was talking to wifey tonight about setting up a pastel drop in scheme for solders serving in Afghanistan. Like they do for the dog homes in the supermarket where you drop a tin of dog food in a huge box for the dog's.

I could knock up a box for people to drop mags, pot noodles, sweets, crisps, etc for serving solders. I know that one thing that puts a smile on the face of a squad is a food pastel!!

good move mate, so many of us just think of doing this sort of thing, and it never gets any further , Ive been thinking a lot just lately, after two down and outs in new York complimented me and the wife on what a good looking couple we were as they were packing there cardboard boxes away for the day on a very cold morning,and it makes me feel good to help folks out a bit so i will look to help were i can , in the future

There is a Christmas tree in the Brunswick pavillion, where people, can place unwrapped gifts, for the aged and other underprivileged, which then get wrapped and distributed by a charity whose name I have forgotten right now, was it the Salvation Army? probably... anyhow, we give something every year and it's nice to see in the paper later the folks who were so pleased with their surprise gifts from strangers...great idea. Lots of advertisement on the local radio about it as well, so generally popular and well supported.
