Discuss Four tile pattern in the British & UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.

I was looking at some old wall tiling today where 4 tiles join up to form a pattern, they were butted together with no grout line but this made the patterns join,if their was a grout gap of even 2 mill i dont think the tiling pattern would look right, has any one come across this situation before or any thoughts on this.
