Hi there all. I live in Cairns, Australia at the mo but I'm thinking about coming back to the good old UK soon, Stoke on Trent to be precise and before you say it I will - it'll be different compared to the tropics but hey, some things just don't work out.

:welcome: I'm from Stoke and believe me, there are places in the UK that are a lot worse than Stoke now. Stoke is full of heritage and history and the reason people think it's run down is because all the industry has pretty much gone. It won't be long before it comes into its own again.

First off sorry about the 's' word and it's nice to have a forum of this standard. Okay, Stoke might not be that bad. I was just comparing it to here. As for why I'm thinking about coming back...'relationship problems' for one...

I'm still trying to convince my other half that we should get ourselves to Oz but she's far too family orientated to go for now so I'll have to wait. Grrrrrrr.
