Hi There

I was wondering, has anyone got information relating to the tile industry - new developments etc. I recently thought about pattern imprinted concrete and hit a good website which gave a lot of useful information about the process and the industry. Would like the same for the tiling industry. Also interested in water jet cutting services and wondered what is the main use for tiling. Do many tilers use such a service?

Many thanks

Unfortunately I cant afford the Tile and Stone Show this year but will meet up with some of the guys next year. Dan this site is remarkable thank you.

In general it is more the bigger tiler companies who use this service as their clients have the big projects where this is layed.

Typical are better hotels, bigger car shops, yachts, cruiser ships wanting the logo or a complex compass rose or just curved tiles e.g. for a round dance foor.

Common is that the water jet company has a CAD drawing, acc. to that they cut the tiles, number each tile and mark the position on the drawing what is the laying plan.
