Personally i would say the best way to get into tiling would be to do your course and then try to get a job with a tiling comany to get some "miles" ( or should that be tiles) under your belt so to speak. Working within a company will give you experieces whether good or bad only you will know. you should get a widerange of jobs within a year and then you will have more confidence to go alone.
Of course you dont have to take that route. It is and has been proven on thos very forum that you can go alone after your course and make a go of it. Which ever way it wont always be easy.
For advice about different jobs you may be thinking of doing we can help, we can encourage and advise on best ways to go about getting work.....what we cant do is actually get the work for you and neither can we do it for you.
If you read the forum you will see names who are struggling to find work, this could be through bad advertising, no advertising, waiting for a phone to ring etc etc. A job in tiling is not just about fixing tiles, its getting the work, quoting on evenings and weekends, keeping up with your account at the tile dealer and making sure that the last job you have done could lead to reccomendations which in turn leads to more and more work.
I wish you all the best in the future.
