glass border tile

Fixing glass border tile with what appears a backing paper of some sort.
Any thoughts on adhesive?

You want to use a mosaic adhesive, 2mm trowel, and flatten with you grout flout. The side with the paper on is the front of the tiles, this has to be removed when full set.

Hi jacko....

Does it have any installation instructions with it......some glass tiles/borders need certain adhesives.....or a reaction occurs......most you just use a flexible adhesive and it is wise to totally cover the back so no shadowing shows through from the back........if in doubt always check with the manufacture......
Also you need to use flexible fine grain grout, so as not to scratch them....

The rear of the border tile 250mmx20mm has a plastic like film adhered to it, this forms a pattern which shows through the front of the clear tile so you can not view right through the tile to the fixing adhesive, not the usual glass tile.

exactly what i was on about jacko...check with the manufacture if no advice slip is with them.....
