Is Knee protection considered tools???

Over here in the states , we talk about the same issues as you folks do.
I have to say marshalltown trowells are the best!!! expensive but the best, Rubi dry/score cutters ! Felker & MK wet saws ( although I`ve been using a Dewalt wet saw for over a year, does 22 1/2 & 45 deg miters, plunge cuts as well.I like it but it could be a bit more powerfull.

On to my Title ? , Ive been in the floorcovering industry for 32 yrs ( droped out of school @ 16 ) & have used all kinds of kneepads . When I went to only tile fixing as you call it ( we call us installers or mechanics ) 20 or so years ago I looked & looked for the Mercades of knee pads ,well it took 8 trs to find them but once I did I`ll never go back to any thing else !!!!!!!!!!! There called " Pro Knees" a bit akward in the begining but there designed to your measurements.

Heres the link to there web site if ya`ll never heard of them ???

Yea they look out of sorts for sure !! & yes there rather costly . BUT!!!!!!! I`ve had the same pair for 6 years , you can send them back to them & they`ll rebuild them just like new for 1/2 the cost of new .
I wouldn`t use any thing else on my knees ,ever!!!!!!!!!

There about $200 US ,don`t know what that converts to in Pounds or Euro`s ,but there worth every penny. My back ,knees &shins, hurts no more !

There are a bit cumbersome getting use to them as well.
