Goodbye yellow Dewalt drill... You served us well for 4 years.

You were even manhandled by Peter Jones on Dragons Den.

One last photo for the scrap book....

And its time to say hello to the shiny and new Makita 18v replacement drill.

The poor dirty, gruby. battered old Dewalt has been put through over 5,000 hours of demonstrations plus lots of private jobs. And it seems the knackered old batteries just cant hold their charge any longer. Not good when in the middle of a demo!

It will probably live out its days doing "small jobs" about the house but the days of getting up at 4am and going on the road to trade shows are long since over...

(Mental note to self - Must remind you guys the first ToolFair is coming up soon in Yorkshire)


Goodbye Dewalt..... Goodbye !

365Drills will be showcasing diamond tile drills for VERY hard granite marble and porcelain tiles. And this year to do it we will be road testing the Makita above instead of our old Dewalt. (After 5000 hours of demonstrating the batteries have died on the Dewalt).

As a day out its well worth the effort as you get to go hands-on with all sorts of tools and goodies. And there are deals to be had.
