Decent online guides those are with videos and whatnot. Log into your account while you follow what they're doing and you can setup some pretty cool tracking. Especially with an online store and any AdWords account you have.

So you can track how much a click cost you for a certain term, and where they visited around your site, and then eventually what they bought. And it should show you cool graphs eventually of what is best to spend on keywords wise in adwords, as it's gaining you X amount in sales. Sort of thing.

You can do it similar with forums but track sign-ups and then thread starters etc.
