thanks for the replies guys i know my knees are worth more than 50 quid every couple of months but am just coming away from Rubi pads that i seem to tear a set every 1 or 2 months
the obvious thing would be to lose some weight but i do like a :8:eek:r three every now and then and i think the Rubi ones have gone down in quality in the last few years anyway cause they used to last a lot longer

I have been looking at these knees pads from Tradetiler and will youlet me know how they perform please...

no probs mate will do
i got some of the platinum ones the other day but had to send them back as they came down to the bottom of my shins and it felt like i was kneeling on a kerb they were so thick :yikes:

these ones seem lovely loads of length on the straps and as said the strap is a lot further down your leg so know painful red sore in the back of your knees

Sorry about the recent price increase - this is due to the bad exchange rate between the Euro and Pound

These might seem expensive but they really do work. We have been suprised by how many people have told us these knee pads have stopped their knee pain.

Made from a strange synthetic foam which quickly molds to the shape of your knee. The square face stop the pads from rolling sideways. Elasticated velcro fix straps

i have been wearing these pads for 3 years now.unbelievably comfortable and dont worry about the build quality.they are german remember.when grouting make sure to clean them with the sponge too.i have let various tradesmen try them on and all agree that they are class.i would't tile without mine.id say ill get another few years out of them too.i have even taken the grinder to them at times.lol.a truly great purchase for any tiles even if they aint pretty! Who cares when your knees are protected like that!

right used them for a job this past week and after the **** taking by others was over i must say they are the softest pads on the knee i have ever used the straps were an absolute joy as well no more cut line in the back of my knee they did rub a little on the front but i will get used to that and if im ultra critical as they are quite thick i did tend to fall off them a little but all in all they get a big  from me
