Granite floor

Hello guys & girls
Just been to look at a floor tiling job in ganite, which is my first in granite,its 22 m2 and on a screed floor.All help is welcome pricing,prep work,grout lines,sealing,etc.Many thanks tony.

its a hard one to start as your 1st job ,what size tiles are they and which granite is it ? your floor preparation will need to be spot on as highly polished tiles are unforgiving, you will need to hire a good quality wet cutter and solid bed the tiles, 3mm joints maximum good luck with it I am sure you will get sound advice and help from the lads on here

Thanks gary,she hasnt chosen the granite tile as of yet, would you prime the floor and use flexable adhesive.Ive got a plasplug master tiler wet cutter.tony

under normal circumstances there is no need to prime a screeded floor or to use flexible adhesive with granite tiles but i use flexible adhesive for everything these days as the difference in price isnt that great, if the subfloor hasnt been screeded well or there is a lot of suction from it prime with sbr bond hope this helps
