Grinder and good blade

Looking to buy a 240v grinder and a good blade any recommendations?

I have a Bosch grinder and a Marcrist CK850 blade in it. Both good imo.

Makita grinder, have montolit DNA on it at the mo, very good blade but, I'd say the montolit pro-gres is a tad better, and a couple of quid cheaper than the DNA.

As far as I am concerned there are only 2 grinders worth looking at. Makita and Bosch ( get the blue one as I believe it has a smaller body) .
As for wheels, if you want the best then its the montolit brand. It cuts clean and lasts well IMO

Makita with pro-gres blade. Replacing the Mikita with a metabo soon pro-gres blade is excellent tho.

B&Q are selling the makita 710w angle grinder with a case and a couple of discs 240v for £44-99. i saw them in the other day and only yesterday i received a mail shot advertising them...great make makita, you can't go wrong.

montolit for me too. i've just bought a pro ges and a squadro from trade tiler.
also, visit to Kwik Split because they have a great range of montolit blades to choose from.

ps, the cordless 18v makita angle grinders are a great little addition to have as well!! really happy with mine.

18volt Makita with a Pro-Gres blade, that blade is far superior to the Marcrist CK850. I also have the Squadro blade, great for cutting out holes in middle of tiles for sockets etc..

Bosch grinder with a montolit pro gres blade ! I used to be a marcrist user , but not anymore IMO the montolit is a much cleaner cutting blade and you'll really notice the difference when cutting good quality tiles !

Bosch 7-100 is a good job. slim body so easy to use one handed.

My 5 year old Makita went pop and have just replaced it with a Bosch one but only because it was the only 110v one the shop had in atathe time! Both good grinders though. have been using the Montolit Pro-Ges blade for about 12 months, best I've ever used!
