Hi all. Never done a wet room before so need some advice.
I'm installing one on the ground floor of a barn conversion. Ideally I would like the shower floor level with the rest of the floor.
The area for the shower will be 'up to' 1000mm x 'a fixed' 800mm, with a suitable glass screen to the 1000mm side.
I have a 40mm waste set within 90mm Celotex, with a couple of knuckle bends to bring it just above the insulation.
The floor screed will add 90mm and ideally I want to keep the shower floor at the same height.
Can anyone advise on the best solution for forming the shower floor area?
Will I need to tank the walls and floor of the shower area? (I've never done that with any other 'normal' shower installation)
I've looked at Impey Aqua grade, which almost fits the bill but I don't think the trap will fit within my floor dimensions.
Thanks in advance.
Daniel
