Please can anyone let me know if the grout would be ok to use if it's been in the open bag for a week or two? I have just finished the boxing in of the pipe work and a few tiles needed to be added after the main tiling was finished. I have enough grout left over and it seems ok but is it like plaster and after a few days it's scrap?
Also a couple of the floor tile's grout has some cracks. I suspect I used to much water in the mix when I did the job. Do I need to remove all the grout from the cracked area which runs around two 300x300 tiles or is it acceptable just to apply more grout over the top and re smooth?
Thanks in advance
Chris.

I had an unopened bag of grout in my shed for twelve years. Wickes brown. Used some of it last year it was fine. Left the opened bag in there and used a the rest aout two months ago. Was no problem at all. It seems to last for ages and ages as long as its dry.
