Grout colur

Hi

When grouting the tiles and you use a sponge and wipe clean all the area ready for the tile grout to go off, why would grey grout dry in patches ie darker and lighter on four walls

Did you have to much water when sponging the grout...

Did you clean all the joints of adhesive.
How long has the grout now been on, sometimes some areas are deeper than others and take longer to dry.
Bal Limestone is always patchy IMHO so grey may be the same (tend to use another brand for this reason).
