Grout float

need new one like yesterday, i usually get the tile easy ones but saw rubi ones in the shop, ho do they compaire?

dont buy the Mcallister ones out of B&Q they'll rip the hands of you after a few hours! I use marshslltown floats couldn't fault them

marshslltown are good, last 5 times longer than cheapy floats like genises..

I really should try new floats. I've been using Topps gum rubber float for years. I like it. Feels good in the hand and doesn't cause big callus's. Wouldn't mind trying something else though to see what differences I might find

I ordered 10 last year, just the blades...still got 5 new ones left. Great for porcelain and rectified tiles etc not as good on chisel edge and soft edge stone.

where you getting them from neal, wouldn't mind taking a look ,need a new float..

I can get the float and rubbers from my local stockist but it was cheaper to buy 10 blades as replacements from the net.

Always use Marshall town or Ragni never hold it by the handle always put my fingers thru the handle seem to get a better grip and leverage and grout a lot quicker

Sir Ramac. It was the yellow handled blue rubber one I was recommending. As you rightly say it is a really good float and you can change the rubber element when it needs replacing

Yeah I have a selection. Great when you need to switch from black grout to white etc

Kwik Split Grout Floats i use the RA136N £8.55 but i just buy the clip-on bottoms these are fantastic floats for mosaic IMO .....

I've been using the Rubi ones for about 18 months now, I have one for dark and one for light grouts. They last a good 12 months if you look after them.

I got the marshaltown one, on comparison to the easy tile one, its mush softer.

refina one is quite big, from b&q, think its about 12 quid
