Wivers says he just drinks alot of tea then urinates over the wall, that'll definately remove the haze,in fact sometimes the tiles start to melt
Well Dave,
i actually don't have too much bother with haze, must be the way i was trained to wash!
I use the washboy all the time, rub first in circular motion to form joints etc, then before i move away from the area i clean sponge and rub it once on floor etc, then clean it,rub along floor or wall again then rinse again,do this often and very little if any haze appears, change water regular too,
what a brilliant postA reputable training organisation? never come across one yet
I've read all the post's in this thread and i am a little amazed why people will buy additives for washing grout off?
At the end of the day we are all in the game to make money ,why put uneccesary expense on to the job when water and sponge and a dry rag will do the same job.
I go back to the days of sand and cement grouting and using sawdust to clean off ,all the stuff you use now does not require that much hard work.
I keep seeing the same old thing in post's here and on other site's ,everyone making the job harder than it need's to be.
what a brilliant post
all these fancy additives/ grouts have only been around for a few years
bring back snowcreat and silversand and cement i say
remember when we use to polish off with the straw out of the boxes
