grout query

this may be stupid question but i was given evo-stik ceramic wall tile grout for my kitchen floor tiles. it also says for joints up to 3mm - mine are 7mm. Would i get away with using this and if not whats the reason?

if your joints are 7mm you are gonna need "wide joint grout" mate.You dont say if the floor is wooden or concrete,if its wooden you will need " flexible wide joint grout"

maybe somebody thought they were doing you a favour, but believe us they weren't!! Go to a proper tile supplier, not one of your homebase,focus, b&q stores, and get some floor grout that fulfils your requirements. A proper stockist will be able to advise you exactly what you want. The answer to your question tho' is in your question, it's wall grout for joints upto 3mm, not floor grout for 7mm joints! Good luck mate,

Maybe worth trying our Ultracolor grout which is fully flexible and for 2-20mm joints
