Grout Question

Morning all !

Just after opinions if possible.

I'm going to tile a mates kitchen for him in a few days time and he has purchased some brick style white tiles (approx 200mm x 100mm), he wants me to suggest a grout so the grout stands out slightly (so you can actually 'really' see the block work pattern).

Does anyone have any suggestions?, will be getting the supplies from tops tiles, so hopefully your suggestions match their stock. - Tile Grout from BAL | Topps Tiles

He did mention sandstone..... I have used a few coloured grouts before but only - (black, grey, white, maroon) , never a cream/sandy one, are they/do they look any good???

to be honest stu any coloured grout will stand out against white tiles even colours as close as limestone and ivory will give you the required definition. hope this helps

I wouldn't get any adhesive and grouts from topps before checking there prices they charge well over SRP l when i have tried to buy from them always found the local tile shops were 1/2 there price light grey grout white tiles

Thanks lads, will probably give the sandstone a go and see what its like.

Only using tops as my brother has a trade account so will get some money off.

still check the price £10 of £50 is not as good as £1 of £30 for the same product :yikes:

sandstone with a white tile??? It will look like awful imho. Silver grey is good there is pics in my album.

Agree with Gall, gunmetal grey/ silver or something similar.
