grout sealing is quite a good little money spinner and quite easy to talk the customer into but a really horrible job, untill i tried this stuff just sealed 20m2 of floor tiles and part of a splashback in 15 mins flat Seal Guard Tile & Grout Sealer Aerosol 600ml - £19.99 - www.*******************

There's supposed to be a new aerosol coming out thats better and cheaper than that one, watch this space.

Used it a few times Tiletrader used to sell it, think you can use it on wet grout.

Yeah can use it on wet grout aslong as been standing for 20 mins says on tin , I used the same stuff to seal the grout on my bathroom floor a couple of years ago not the spray on stuff but the one in the can and still going strong

I use the universeal aerosol sealer & use it on wet grout, it's great stuff to use & very easy to apply but it stinks to high heaven..

Does it work well to protect ivory grouts etc? Have a bottle in the van and used it once, never knew if it was worth the effort or just a waste of time.

Yeah it works really well apply it then two hours later you pour water on it and it is waterproof

I have used the LTP aerosol stuff loads of times. It works well to seal the grout and help keep it clean with all those coloured body washes thesedays.
Infact, used it in my own shower area about 6 yrs ago on the main grout and on some small slate mosaics. I only need to give the grout a quick clean down (with diluted bleach! i know i shouldn't but im too mean to myself to by a proper cleaner!) about twice a yr, then re spray it and it stays nice and white.
Definitely worth using IMO.
Another story just remembered about. Had tiled a large kitchen diner knock thru job couple of yrs or so ago and finished intime for Xmas. Went back in new year to tile the utility. Customer tells me he dropped the flipping turkey out of the oven all over the new flooring. Fat juices etc all over the place. I had treated the floor with this sealer (LTP) and you couldnt see any sign of such a spill. Granted they cleaned it straight away, but im sure this stuff helped!
