What grout do you guys all use. Is webber better than mapei?

 

[Time's Ran Out]

Mapei for me - for the colour Jasmin,beige, etc.
Bal - for white and mid grey.
Ardex - for c2 grey.

I'am not really fussy!

Use BAL 99% of the time, however I can't stand the new micromax 2 so have been looking for an alternative for my coloured grouts. Tried tilemaster grout 3000 for the first time last week and it is an excellent product, no one sells it locally so it's a bit of a pain to get it at short notice.

I generally use mapei but find it goes to wet too quick. Weber seems pretty good. Any thoughts on nicobond?

I've not tried nicobond, wasn't overly impressed with weber either. I have tried the new Ardex grout and that is also very nice to work with and look at the colour range!

Mapei for colour (never anything else (lesson finally learned)) for white then bal, Webber. Wish there was an ardex stockist near me

Yes, that's where I got my free sample and the colour chart from.

They hand them out if you spend enough money with them and, if you're like me, just annoy them so they give me free stuff just to get me out of the shop! I've never had a problem getting colour charts from anywhere, surely it's in their interest to dish them out to help with sales?

How you mixing the Mapei?

I had trouble with it a while ago but through the forum got it sorted.

Bang on the water required & mix mechanically.

I mix it like toothpaste texture but seems to just go sloppy very quick

bri is that eye shadow sticks ????

Ultra white and mapei for colours.....

Mapei UCP for colours & BAL Microflex for white.
