hi. has anyone used one of those giant grouting piping bags? what a load of ! mine was in skip after 10 mins. glad they are only cheap. one tip i was given is to put washing up liquid in the grout mix. is this a wind up? THEY DO NOT WORK !!!

thought about getting them for work with natural stone etc
but a few people have your opinion that they are worthless,i think the hard part would be getting used to them!

Fairy liquid was used many years ago in sand and cement, would'nt use with the grout, could cause all kind of problems

I'd consider a grouting gun on large natural stone floors, but a piping bag?? naaahh!

I used a gouting gun. Not tried grouting bag - think would be bloomin fiddly and a bit messy. I modified the grout gun with a larger nozzle and used it for pointing up brick work although had to keep refilling it so would probably have been just as fast with a pointing trowell.

I've got some horrible tiles to grout this week, just finishing off fixing them, there porc with with a ridged fingerprint swirl patters raised from them.

Its the words smallest bathroom aswell, just off the worlds smallest landing up the worlds steepest and narrowest stairs :mad2:
