Grouting float

Hey if have used a grouting float to grout black grout for a floor. Can I use it later to grout white grout. I have cleans it and soaked it and still has a faint black colour around the edge of the float. Will this effect the colour of my white grout. Do I need to get a new float and just use for lighter groutss. Thanks for any review on this

It can if you are sure no more black will come off but most tilers will have float for white grout and one for coloured. Some may even have floor floats and wal floats.

I use a grout float where the rubber pad is replaceable so its just a matter of switching the pad over.

some bleach in a bucket of water and leave it overnight

Iv soaked it and it still has abit of discoloure on it black on the egdes. I may get another think are about 8pound

I doubt you will find those in many shops.

They are superb floats and even the trowels etc are class.
On this site too look for the tile suction pads ! there is a single one with black handle and reddish body.... everyone should have one of these IMO. Purely top notch and so strong.
