Grouting problems - help please?

Hi, would appreciate some advice on a recent problem ive encountered when tiling someones en suite. The customer came back with a complaint that the grout was not flush with the tiles, and as it was a bathroom, it should be. I was never told this when trained. Has anyone come across this before? The tiles which are grouted have indentation between the tiles, ie not flat. Thanks.

Is the customer saying that the biscuit can be seen because the grout is too low, if it is on view then he is right because water will penetrate the tiles.

Are the tiles short of glaze?
As the tiles are probably round edged to a degree it is better to have the grout slightly below tile depth, but as Diamond says there should not be biscuit showing.

thank for the reply, there's no biscuit showing and the tile are rounded off at edges, sorry have no photos

Sounds OK to me then, would really need to see it.
Does the client want the grout totally flat with the front of the tile?

Because if he does it wont look right
