Grouting?????

Just finished tiling 35 sq m of 6 inch ceramic.
Going to start grouting tomorrow. Was just wondering what area of coverage i can get before each use of wash boy.
Previously iv been doing 2 sq m or so then washing down but it takes forever.
Can i grout about 10 sq m first without grout drying out. Cheers

just keep checking it as you go if your on your own 10m2 might be pushing it, are you using flexi grout? if you are i'd stick to about 4-5m2 to be on the safe side

Get used to a grout you like best first. Like I will only use Bal or Ardex. As time goes by, you'll get faster, but thats not the point. The point is, a bad and rushed grout job will ruin a good tile job, so don't worry about time for now.

I only do a sqm at a time max normally, unless it's a larger format tile.

I once tried to be clever,tried to grout about 7sqm of riven porcelain tiles with bal superflex grout and couldn't get all the dried grout out of the grooves,I ended up scrubbing the floor for 3 hours to get it all off.Plus it took ages to get the grout film off.
I personally only do 2-3 metres at a time.

Don't be tempted to put that last bit of grout thats left in the bucket on the wall as mentioned earlier it will only take you twice as long if your not carefull so as far as time goes it can be a false commodity.
