hi guys do any of you use gumtree to advertise its free to advertise Ive had 2 people call me this week probably had about 6 jobs from it since i advertised on there its worth checking out

no its all free you can even upload 3 photos for free its great free advertising

6 jobs in 10 months aint bad for free its like any advertising some of it works some does not but at least its free that can only be a good thing sir ramic what area are you in

Did i ever say it was bad value? I merely said that you are not charged for the service and that i had had no real responce.

ive had one call....last week,priced the job and they never called back....probably because they had sooooooo much prep work on floor and walls.They were time wasters for me,but gumtree is good as its free like you say.

got to worth a shot if free.
Its just remembering to re-post the ad everyday.
Maybe worth downloading a macro program that can redo it automatically by hitting f12 or something - save some time.

yeah its a pain reposting everyday but i do and sometimes change my photos last 2 times Ive done this Ive had a customer ring me straight away

you get some folk requesting a tiler for work also so its worth checking on a regular basis.... also you can often get away with your ad being near the top of the list for a few days as people often cant be bothered to re-post their ads....
