john it's some bad stuff, my son kept reading me stuff off the nett ,if they put to much in the drink it can kill someone, if i ever see anyone do this to someone they better watch out!! they will deffo be on there way to hospital .it a sick thing to do

Like John I knew nothing about this at all, I am deeply shocked, that is just so scary and appaling, what a frightening thing to have to go through for your daughter and all of you as a family.
It makes me so sad and angry that men don't protect women instead of playing stupid power trips, and it also makes me angry that others tend to think it's funny or macho.

My beautiful and intelligent stepdaughter lives and in Hull and is together with this really heavy looking dude and when I asked her why she said he makes her feels safe, as nobody would mess with with him or her while they are together, having had some bad experiences herself. What sad and primitive need in our day and age. And we scoff at other cultures how they treat their women? Shocking.

I'm still sitting here shaking my head in disbelief. So relieved that your girl is out the woods, Dave.

Maybe so, but I haven't heard of it. The yougner brother of the guys that work for me is still youngish (24) and going out to clubs and bars to party. I'm going to ask him about this.

thanks again everyone for your best wishes!!!, its good to know you guys are first class peeps!!!! i just cant believe these sickos are out there praying on young women, she was in such a state for a girl that hardly drinks, my other daughters Friends see her in the high street,and could tell something was wrong with her and stayed with her until my other doughtier got a taxi straight over to her,.just make sure you guys worn all your Friends and family to take care out there!!!! its grime

spiking drinks with "date-rape" drugs has been going for some time in the UK. certainly since 1998 when I first started going out and drinking properly. a whole plot in Hollyoaks was dedicated to raising awareness of it about 4 years ago. some of the drugs the sicko's use are drugs intended for use on animals and will often lead to infertility for those who have been spiked.

dangerous business and still nobody has any idea how to stop it
