Not a big fan of Hardie and can't think of a reason to choose it over Marmox.
(probably get shot for saying that on here)
Hardys a bit more rigid and can take a bit more weight, So if I ever have to fit tiles that weigh over 62kg I might consider it.
Might have to underpinn the house for that job:lol:

How big is the floor? I doubt either would do much to overcome excessive deflection which would be best sorted by strengthening the structure or overboarding with 15/18mm wbp in line with BS5385.

If it's just to provide a suitable tile surface though - i'd go with marmox (although I use Wedi) everytime.
Hardi is too messy, heavy, full of silica
