Has anyone used Ultra Level IT 1 SLC?

Hi all, has anyone used Ultra Level IT 1 SLC before?

never heard of the brand so wondered if it was 'pony' or not?

having trouble locating BAL or MAPEI equivalents near me

It's all I ever use Dave, really good gear, mixes well, flows nicely and needs minimal trowelling. Also suitable for UFH and can be built up to 50mm, although I've never needed to do that and it would cost an arm and a leg!

How does Ultra's Level it one compare to Weber Floorlfex & Tile Master Levelflex?

Never used tile master but do prefer weber over ultra. Topps do the ultra but as i don't use Topps any more always use weber now. Great gear. And i think cheaper.

Weber and TA both have fibres which instantly makes them better. Ultra has a very high sand content compared to the other 2 and I've noticed in the past that when it's been laid over UFH and commissioned, there are always hairline cracks. This doesn't happen with the weber or TA products. Personally I think it's an inferior product and would only ever use it if I couldn't get hold of the other two. Just my opinion.

the Weber stuff is fantastic for build up, quick setting and lovely to work with.

The tilemaster level flex is just as good mate, I've only used it a couple of times but, I think it flows a bit better than Weber, really handy if you only need to do a very thin layer.
