Having to use my car

Hi, I just needed some advice please, I have had my van probably written off by a motorist coming out of a side road (not looking where he was going) and I am having to use my car Ford Focus is this going to look unprofessional and if you had the same problem would you get sighns on the car all advice welcome.

I've noticed there are many tilers using cars to get about with no livery. I wouldn't worry too much about it. You could always hire a van if you need the space & it's tax deduct able inc fuel

I have used cars , MPV and estate cars for over 8 years . Never had signs and never been told its unprofessional although I wasnt allowed to park on site a few times due to it not being a commercial vehicle.
The down side is the wear and tear a car will get over that of a van.

Thanks Sir Ramic, Yes thats what I was a bit worried about the wear and tear but I hope I am not with out a van too long, you know what Insurance companies are like.

I've had to use the car on the odd occasion when the van has been having work done on it, most people won't care, it's the quality of your work that most people are interested in. This is what my focus looked like with half my tools in!

I'm using my car at the moment too, after scrapping my old escort van.. Really need to get some money together and buy a van, as the car isn't really practical. Customers don't even bat an eyelid at me turning up in a car, but i do feel it's a little unprofessional.. Needs must though eh?

Just make sure you change your insurance over to business use if you use your car.

it took 2 months for insurance to get mine sorted out after a drunk driver smashed the back end in

are insurance not providing you with a courtesy vehicle whilst your's gets repaired?
