I have alot of site work now and you have to get past the health and safety regulations to get on site. Is there anyway i can get hold of a pack / information with it all in or get someone do to it so i have method statments / health and safety the lot? i could do with finding someway of putting together a pack i can just put together which covers every angle they look at.

Sorry mate, I'm a bit out of touch with this stuff risk assessment, cosh, method statements etc. bit of a pain imo I'm sure someone with more info. will be along soon oops, they already have.

it pays to bite the bullet and get proffessional help , things change quickly and each site presents different risks to be assessed and countered

you wouldnt represent yourself in court, dont write your own H&S statements

where could i get someone to do this for me?

You can do all your own H&S sheets, method statements, risk assessments etc. Once you have them you just need to change the dates and address of the site you are at. I have all my tools pac tested once a year by my electrician friend.

What we did was to complete a binder with both our risk assessments as well as our method statements which we have close to hand with our public liability insurance certificate as well as our product liability insurance.

These are in demand by most exhibition centres we attend as well as private jobs we do on construction sites. I was thinking of having electronic copies on the website but they dates and places change so its a bit difficult and also some places we visit insist we complete their paperwork. But I find the binder helpful because its a case of having to think about everything we do just once in detail, getting it down and then transcribing it into the format that other companies like to see via good old "copy and paste"

The risk doesn't change from company to company - but the forms sure do !
