Hello All Question about Grout

Hi all great Forum,
I,v been doing all my own tiling for 15 years now (Fitting Kitchens and Bathrooms for freinds and family). Finally gone self employed. I'v just tiles a bathroom floor, Used BAL Rapid set flexable. Now my client has decided she wants white grout. The adhesive is grey. will this work or is there potential for it to look a mess as adhesive often rises into the joints somewhat. Any advise would be appreciated.

As long as the joints are free from proud adhesive and the adhesive is dry then it will be fine.. you don't want any residue showing through at the edges etc..

i nearly always use Grey adhesive even with white grout just make sure your joints are clean or run a Stanley knife along the side of the tiles but be careful they are sharp and can chip the tiles and welcome ete

Hi mate and :welcome: White grout is not very practical for a floor imo,( soon discolours) you can try products like sealguard or the like ( a spray that seals grout) stops staining make sure you clean the joints prior to grouting.

:welcome: I always try and discourage white grout on floors.... and to be honest, i haven't done one in over ten years. If i do have to use a light colour, i always use white adhesive.

Hi & :welcome:. I've used Bal wide joint flexi white on a floor not too long ago with white marble but as the guys say it is best to seal it which mine was as I had to seal marble tiles

i think the point is its already been tiled with grey adhesive just saying don't panic not a Major problem its better than diging it up and starting it again :lol::lol:
