what advertising have you tried..?

I found that you get allot more response from advertising in local papers than you do from some of the bigger advertising companies,also ther is allot of free advertising you can do yell.com,google etc.

a bit of online advertising advise I would give you is google tilers, tiling, tiler etc etc in the areas you wish to cover. then the ones that come up top,(yell, Brownbook, Gumtree,etc) open a free account with them. Be sure to up date it with new pictures etc to keep your ads current and fresh.

Have you got a website? There easier to put together than you might think. Generally cost a total of £30 a year and if you get the right keywords in the titles and first page you'll come in on page 1 of a google search for a tiler in your coverage areas.
It also makes free adds such as in gumtree look a little more professional when you can add a link to your website.

really good advertising to be had from those very local booklets that are popping up everywhere nowadays,, i have had a better respone from these than anything else , i think people are thinking more and more local for trades so if you turn up in the monthly church newsletter when you get a customer you get cake and cups of tea ALL DAY LONG what a life :lol:
